Cats

Our Noah’s Ark Society Feline Division is focused on assisting cats of all breeds and ages in their time of need. We work predominantly in Middle Tennessee, and follow the values set forth to facilitate a No Kill Nation. We work closely with shelters in our area who are striving to lower or eliminate their euthanasia rate all together. We are actively focused on TNR initiatives in our community. Our feline division is small and growing, and we are actively recruiting volunteers to join this team.

About our Feline Program:

The majority of the cats in our program come from shelters in Middle Tennessee. Noah’s Ark Society occasionally brings in litters of kittens that have either come to us through shelters or as strays. We actively work on Trap Neuter Release initiatives, where stray cats are captured in humane traps, taken in for sterilization surgery, and returned to their home environment. TNR has been proven to be the most successful effort in reducing cat euthanasia in shelters.

We are an Adopt A Pet Approved Cat Rescue. Members of our Feline Core Group are DART Credentialed Responders certified by FEMA to assist in times of disaster.
