Our Local Programs
Volunteering
At Noah’s Ark Society, we have established volunteer programs with a number of organizations in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. These volunteers help us out with opportunities such as adoption events, fundraisers and community education. Here are just a few of the groups with whom we work:
- Boy Scouts of America
- Girl Scouts of America
- Yana House
- Brentwood High School
- and corporate partners in the community…
Fundraising
Because Noah’s Ark Society survives on individual donations, fundraising is necessary to continue our day-to-day operations. To raise money for ourselves and our partners in the community, we host events such as Paws on the Pavement, Sips and Strokes, Brushfire, Cocktails for a Cause, Stout, and numerous adoption events.
Community Education
Through local programs, we help educate pet-owners in the community about pet care topics like affordable options spay and neuter, vaccinations, rabies, overall wellness and more. For these programs, we partner with:
- Pet Community Center
- Cheatham County Animal Care and Control
- Low Cost Spay and Neuter
- Nashville Humane Society’s Rover Program
- And more!
