Community

Community: A feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.

Noah’s Ark Society is built entirely on the concept of community.  We understand that we are always stronger together than on our own, and we fight to foster that helpful spirit through our animal outreach as well as our efforts to give back to our Nashville community.  From our volunteer network that provides urgent care to homeless pets to our partnerships with Safe Harbor For Men Nashville, Mending Hearts Nashville, and Yana House Nashville, we create a clever synergy where not only people help animals, but animals also help people.

There are a unique set of values that you gain through giving a voice to the voiceless and a really priceless sense of purpose that you instill in yourself by doing something good for another creature—That’s what binds the Noah’s Ark Society community together. That’s what makes our system of give-and-take worthwhile.   Whether it’s the incarcerated young people learning job skills,  the local homeless population being provided basic needs, or the very animals that we help every day, “community’ is what makes the work we do possible and so very important!
